Terms of Service
What’s changing
Version 1.7 · published November 4, 2026 · takes effect November 4, 2026
- Launch waitlist offer. A new Section 7i sets the rules for the free month offered to the first people who confirm their place on the waitlist.
- Programmes and businesses. New Section 7h (referrals, ambassadors and promotions) and Section 7j (using D Lulu for a business).
- Safety and verification. Section 9 explains what face verification does and does not check, and that D Lulu is not a party to meetups or business events.
- Places, location and other services. New Sections 8a and 8b.
- Disputes and liability. Section 13 and Section 15 now spell out what consumer law protects, how to opt out of arbitration, and the time to bring a claim. Section 18 adds general terms.
Our Privacy Policy changes on the same day — see what’s changing in the Privacy Policy. If you keep using D Lulu after November 4, 2026, these Terms apply to you. If you do not accept them, you can delete your account (see Section 17).
The 30-second version
- You must be 18 or older to use D Lulu, and use only one account per person — we check this when you verify your face.
- You are responsible for your own safety when meeting someone in person. Face verification checks that a face matches the account’s photos and is not on another account — it is not an identity or background check.
- D Lulu is not a party to meetups, business events, venue offers or bookings.
- No harassment, CSAM, doxxing, impersonation, commercial spam, or illegal activity.
- Reviews of businesses must describe your own genuine experience. Businesses can reply to reviews but can never remove them, and must never offer anything in exchange for one.
- Subscriptions renew automatically through Apple or Google until you cancel in your store account; refunds follow the store’s rules.
- Disputes are resolved by individual arbitration in Singapore, without class actions — unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and QuantumShieldAI Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202650970C), a company incorporated in Singapore that operates D Lulu (“D Lulu”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the D Lulu mobile application, dlulu.app, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, tapping “I agree” or “Continue”, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and our Community Guidelines, which form part of them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Before your first face scan, we ask for your separate consent under our Biometric Data Consent.
Some features and programmes have additional terms that we show you when you use them; they form part of these Terms (see Section 18). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and account
- Age. You must be at least 18 years old and of legal adult age where you live. D Lulu is not for anyone under 18. We may use the birth month and year you give us and, where your device provides one, an age signal from Apple or Google to check this. If a signal says you may be under 18, or you do not share one where we ask for it, we may restrict your account until your age is confirmed, and we may close the account of anyone we believe is under 18.
- Capacity and standing. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and must not be barred from using the Service under the law that applies to you. You may not use D Lulu if you have been convicted of a sexual offence or a violent crime, are required to register as a sex offender anywhere, or have been banned from D Lulu, unless we have given you written permission.
- Signing in. You sign in with a mobile phone number, with a one-time code we send to your email address, or with your Google or Apple account. You can add an email address, and where we offer it a phone number, later in Settings.
- One account per person. You may hold only one D Lulu account at a time. Shared, duplicated, or automated accounts are prohibited. When you verify your face, we check that it is not already on another D Lulu account, including a suspended or banned one; if it is, we will not verify a second account, and a close match may be reviewed by our staff (see our Privacy Policy).
- Face verification for new accounts. A new account must complete face verification within 7 days of sign-up. If it does not, we remind you once and then delete the account straight away, without the 90-day hold described in our Privacy Policy. This does not apply to accounts created before 15:42 UTC on October 11, 2026, to accounts that have ever been verified, or to business owners and staff.
- Accurate information. You agree to provide and maintain accurate, current, and complete information, including your real age, your real name or a consistent display name, and real, recent photos of yourself.
- Your account is personal. You may not sell, transfer, lend or share your account, or let anyone else use it.
- Credentials. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Keep your sign-in methods, passkeys and device secure. Tell us at support@dlulu.app straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Our right to refuse. To the extent the law allows, we may refuse to create or verify an account, or to let anyone use the Service, at our discretion.
3. The Service
D Lulu helps adults find activities and people nearby and meet in person, for friendship, shared interests or, where offered, dating. The Service includes, for example:
- Hangout Now and Hangout Plan — activities you publish for now or for later, and requests to join them.
- Live — showing nearby members, for a limited time, that you are at a place and open to company, with your approximate location.
- Date mode, where it is available to you.
- Businesses on D Lulu — activities hosted by businesses, venue offers, partner suggestions and reviews (Sections 7b to 7f and 7j).
- Chat, check-in at a meetup, “Share my plan”, place suggestions, and other features described in the app.
Some features depend on your plan, your country or city, your verification status, or are available only to some members while we test them. D Lulu is available only in the markets we open. We may add, change, limit, suspend or discontinue any feature, for anyone, at any time, with or without notice; where a change materially reduces a paid subscription you already bought, the law and the store’s rules on refunds apply. Older features that are no longer offered for new use (such as “Encounters”, Sealed Notes and the in-app AI assistant) remain subject to these Terms for any records that still exist.
The demo at dlulu.app/try shows sample people, places and activities. Nothing in it is real, and nothing you do in it is sent to anyone.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or defame any person;
- post or transmit hate speech, incitement to violence, or terrorist content;
- post, request, or share any sexual content involving minors — which will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent authority in your jurisdiction, and to local law enforcement;
- post or share non-consensual intimate imagery or dox any person;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- use the Service for commercial solicitation, advertising, prostitution, escort services, multi-level marketing, or other paid schemes, except as a business account within the business features we offer;
- arrange, facilitate, or participate in any illegal activity, including drug trafficking, human trafficking, or minors' exploitation;
- scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Service, or use bots or automated means to access it, except as strictly permitted by law;
- bypass, disable, or interfere with security-related features, rate limits, or geofences;
- upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt the Service;
- collect, harvest, or share personal data of other users without their consent;
- use the Service to conduct background checks, employment-screening, tenant-screening, or insurance underwriting;
- create more than one account, create an account by automated means or for someone else, or try to get around a suspension, a ban, face verification, an age check or the one-account check;
- follow, track or turn up uninvited on anyone, record or photograph people at a meetup without their consent, or share another person’s location;
- ask anyone for money, gifts, investments or financial details, or arrange paid companionship;
- make false reports, write fake reviews or ratings, or manipulate rankings, check-ins, attendance marks, referrals or rewards;
- copy, collect or use content or data from the Service to build a database or a competing service, or to train or test any AI or machine-learning model; or
- use the Service in any way that breaks the law or that could harm D Lulu, its members or the public.
We may investigate any suspected breach, take any action we consider appropriate (see Section 10), and report it to, and cooperate with, law enforcement or other authorities.
Our Community Guidelines explain our standards for acceptable behaviour; both documents are binding on you.
5. Your content and licence to D Lulu
“Your Content” means anything you upload, submit, publish or send through the Service — including photos, video intros, profile details, activities and plans, activity names, messages, reviews, replies, answers to joining questions and reports.
- You own it. You keep ownership of Your Content.
- Your licence to us. You grant D Lulu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence, with the right to sublicense to our service providers, to host, store, copy, reproduce, translate, adapt (for example to resize or format), display and transmit Your Content, to operate, provide, secure, improve and promote the Service. We will not use your profile photos or video intros in our advertising without asking you first.
- How long. The licence lasts while Your Content is on the Service and ends when it is deleted, except (a) for copies in backups, which are cleared in the ordinary course, (b) for content you shared with others, such as messages and reviews, which may remain as part of their conversations or the business’s page as our Privacy Policy describes, (c) for activity names that other members still use, and (d) where we must keep content by law or to enforce these Terms.
- Your promises. You confirm that you have all the rights needed to grant this licence, that Your Content is lawful and accurate, and that it does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property, publicity, privacy or other rights. To the extent the law allows, you waive any moral rights in Your Content as against D Lulu and those we sublicense to.
- No duty to monitor. We are not responsible for Your Content or anyone else’s. We may, but need not, review, screen, refuse, remove or restrict any content at our discretion, including when we believe it breaks these Terms, our Community Guidelines or the law.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or feedback about the Service, you give us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them for any purpose, without any obligation to you.
6. Moderation, reports, takedowns
You can report a member, an activity, a message, a business or a review from the relevant screen in the app, or by emailing support@dlulu.app. We use automated checks and human review. We aim to review safety-critical reports quickly, but we do not promise a response time or a particular outcome, and we have no obligation to monitor the Service. We may preserve and disclose information, including to law enforcement, where we believe the law requires it or it is needed to protect someone’s safety.
- Reporting a business. You can report a business from its page, and an activity a business hosts from the activity. Besides the general reasons, you can choose “Not a real business”, “Misleading offer or deal”, “Discriminatory treatment” or “Unsafe venue”. You can report a review of a business as “Not a genuine experience” (see Section 7d). You can report a business even if it has blocked you. D Lulu reviews these reports and may remove content, turn off an offer, or restrict or suspend the business’s use of D Lulu.
- Businesses can block members. A business may block a member from all of its activities and communities. The member is not told a reason. A blocked member cannot join, or ask to join, the business’s activities or communities, and their pending requests to it are declined in the ordinary way. A block never removes or hides a review of an activity the member attended, and never affects the member’s ability to report the business or to leave or withdraw from an activity.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please follow our DMCA procedure.
7. Subscriptions and payments
- Tiers. D Lulu offers Free, Plus, and Premium tiers. Paid tiers add higher limits, wider reach and extra features, as described in the app at the time you buy. Core participation and safety controls, including blocking and reporting, do not require a paid subscription. We may change what each tier includes; we will not take away a feature you paid for during a billing period you have already paid for, except where the law, safety or a third party’s requirements make it necessary.
- Billed by Apple or Google. Subscriptions are sold and charged by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) to the account you use with them. Their terms apply in addition to ours. We do not receive your payment card details and cannot charge, refund or cancel a store purchase ourselves.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price, and you are charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Deleting the app or your D Lulu account does not cancel a subscription.
- Trials and introductory prices. If we offer a free trial or an introductory price, it converts to a paid subscription at the regular price unless you cancel before it ends, as the store explains when you buy.
- Price changes. We may change prices. A change applies from your next renewal and is notified, and where required consented to, through Apple or Google as their rules provide.
- Taxes. Prices include taxes where the store or the law requires; otherwise you are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; ask them through your store account. Except where the store’s policy or the law gives you a right to a refund (for example a mandatory right of withdrawal), payments are non-refundable and we do not refund partly used periods. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the subscription it paid for ends.
- Free time and promotions. Free passes, trials, rewards, promotional months and other free access (for example from referrals, creator rewards or the waitlist offer) have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and end as their terms say.
7a. Host offers ("Sweeten it")
- What an offer is. A host may state that they will cover something at the meetup — a meal, a fare, an entry ticket. It is a statement of intent between two users. D Lulu is not a party to it, does not hold or transfer funds for it, and does not guarantee that a host will honour it.
- Money never moves through D Lulu, and never between users. A host who covers something pays the venue, merchant, or operator directly, at the venue. You should never send money to another user, for any reason. Anyone who asks you to is doing something the product does not support and should be reported.
- No obligation. Accepting an activity that carries an offer commits you to nothing — not to attend, not to stay, and not to reciprocate. You may leave at any time.
- Caps. Any amount a host states is a ceiling for the whole activity, divided across the spots offered. It is not a payment, a deposit, or a guarantee of value.
7b. Venue offers from businesses
A business on D Lulu may attach an offer to an activity it hosts, such as a drink on arrival, a discount on the bill, or free equipment rental (a “venue offer”). This section applies to everyone who makes, sees or uses one.
- The offer is the business’s, not D Lulu’s. The business hosting the activity makes the offer and is solely responsible for it. D Lulu shows it in the app, but does not sell or supply the goods or services, takes no money, and is not a party to any sale between you and the business. You pay the business directly, at its venue, as you normally would.
- Businesses must honour the offer as shown. A business that publishes an offer must honour it exactly as it was shown to guests, for every guest who meets its stated conditions (for example a minimum spend, dine-in only, or a limit on the number of guests). Once anyone has asked to join the activity, the business may improve the offer but may not reduce or withdraw it.
- One use, for a limited time. Each guest may use an offer once. It is valid from the moment the guest checks in at the activity until 30 minutes after the activity ends. An offer has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and applies only to the activity it is attached to.
- If an offer is not honoured. Report it from the activity in the app. D Lulu will review the report, may contact the business, and may turn the offer off or restrict the business’s use of D Lulu. D Lulu does not refund, reimburse or compensate anyone for an offer; any claim about the goods or services themselves is between you and the business.
- What businesses are responsible for. Each business is responsible for complying with the laws that apply to its offers, including consumer-protection and pricing laws (a “usual” or reference price must be a genuine price the business has recently charged), showing taxes and service charges where the law requires it, and laws on the sale and promotion of alcohol. D Lulu may refuse wording it considers misleading or unsafe, including any promotion of unlimited drinking.
7c. Partner suggestions and Sponsored placement
When you create an activity, D Lulu may suggest places to hold it: verified businesses on D Lulu that have chosen to welcome D Lulu groups (“partners”). This section applies to everyone who sees, chooses or offers a partner suggestion.
- Who can be suggested. Only businesses D Lulu has verified, with a confirmed location on the map and a plan that lets them host, can appear. D Lulu may pause or remove a partner at any time, for example if members report that it did not honour its deal.
- How suggestions are chosen. A place is suggested only if it hosts the kind of activity you are creating, is open at the time of your activity, has room for your group, and is within a reasonable distance of the area you chose. Places that pass are ordered by how well they fit the activity, their distance, how reliably they have honoured their deals, how groups that met there found it, and a fairness turn that gives places shown less often a fair chance to be seen. Showings as a Sponsored card count as showings for this fairness turn, so advertising never earns a place a higher position among the ordered suggestions. Suggestions are worked out from the area you chose for your activity, never from where your guests are.
- Money never changes the order. No business can pay to rank higher among partner suggestions, and what a business pays D Lulu is never part of how suggestions are ordered.
- Sponsored placement is advertising. A business may pay D Lulu to be shown in a separate placement. A card shown this way is paid advertising and is always marked “Sponsored” (“広告” in Japan). It is shown apart from the ordered suggestions, at most one at a time, and only if the place passes the same checks as every other partner: it hosts your kind of activity, is open at your time, has room for your group and is close enough. When a place is shown as the Sponsored card, it is not also listed among the ordered suggestions, so you see it once and always marked. When its Sponsored card is not shown (for example because you have already seen it enough times that day, or it is outside its booked dates or hours), the place can still appear among the ordered suggestions on exactly the same terms as every other partner, unmarked, because there it is not advertising.
- Partner deals. A partner may offer a standing deal to D Lulu groups, and a perk for the host. A partner that offers a deal must honour it as shown, on the terms of Section 7b. D Lulu takes no money from members for partner suggestions or deals.
- Bookings are between you and the venue. Choosing a partner does not reserve a table or a place. To check availability or to book, contact the venue directly, using the phone number, website or booking link it provides. D Lulu does not take bookings or payments for a venue and is not a party to any booking or purchase between you and the venue; any claim about its goods or services is between you and the venue.
7d. Reviews of businesses
After an activity hosted by a business on D Lulu, guests who attended it may give the business feedback: a rating from 1 to 5 and, if they wish, a few words. A guest may also choose to share their feedback publicly as a review. This section applies to everyone who writes, reads, receives or replies to feedback or a review.
- Who can give feedback. Only a guest who joined the activity and checked in at it can give feedback, once per activity, from when the activity ends until 30 days after it ends. You can edit your feedback for 7 days after you write it, and you can delete it at any time; a reply from the business is deleted with it.
- Private unless you share it. Feedback is private by default: only the business sees it. A private review is never shown publicly and never counts towards the business’s public rating. You can switch a public review back to private at any time.
- What a public review shows. A public review appears on the business’s page with your first name, a “Verified attendee” badge, the activity’s name and month, your rating and your words. It never shows your photo.
- Businesses may reply, never remove. A business may reply to a review privately, to its author only, or publicly beneath a public review. A business cannot edit, hide or remove a review, and blocking a member never removes or hides a review of an activity they attended (see Section 6).
- No incentives. A business must not offer or give anything, such as a discount, a free item, an upgrade or an entry into a draw, in exchange for a review or a rating, and must not ask for one in its offers. Nothing on D Lulu depends on leaving a review. D Lulu may remove reviews obtained this way and restrict the business’s use of D Lulu. If a business offers you something for a review, please report it.
- Honest reviews only. A review must describe your own genuine experience of the activity. Do not write fake or misleading reviews, or write one on someone else’s behalf. You may not review your own business: the person who created the activity, its co-hosts, and the staff of the business (or of a business hosting with it, see Section 7e) cannot review it.
- Moderation. We check the words of reviews and replies before they appear, including for contact details, links and anything our Community Guidelines do not allow. Anyone can report a review, and D Lulu may remove a review or a reply that breaks these Terms; when we remove a review, we tell its author.
- The rating. A business’s rating is the average of its public reviews, and it appears only once the business has at least 3 public reviews. Private feedback is never counted.
7e. Businesses hosting together
A business hosting an activity on D Lulu (the “creator business”) may invite one other business to host it together (the “co-host business”). This section applies to both businesses and to everyone who joins such an activity.
- Who can host together. An activity may have one co-host business. Both businesses must be verified by D Lulu and be in the same country. Some activities, such as those limited to a private community, cannot have a co-host business.
- The creator business stays responsible. The creator business alone edits or cancels the activity, sets who it is for and who hosts it, and makes any offer attached to it. It remains responsible for the activity and for honouring its offers under Section 7b.
- What the co-host business sees. While it hosts, the co-host business’s owner and managers can see the requests to join the activity and accept or decline them, see and use the door list, and see the activity’s insights, which are aggregate figures only and never show any one guest’s activity.
- Guests see both businesses. The activity shows both businesses. Before you join, you are told which business hosts it together with the creator business, and that both can see your request and your place on the door list.
- Ending. The creator business may end the arrangement, and the co-host business may leave it, at any time. The co-host business’s access ends when it does.
7f. Following businesses, waitlists and attendance
Verified businesses on D Lulu can stay in touch with people who come to their activities and keep a list at the door. This section applies to members and to businesses. What we keep, and what a business sees, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
- Following, invitations and announcements. You can follow a verified business to hear about its new activities and receive its announcements, and turn either off, or unfollow, at any time. After you attend a business’s activity, it can invite you to future activities only if you said yes, at most once every 7 days. A business may send at most one announcement a day to its followers and to past guests who allowed invitations. You can stop messages from a business from any announcement, and report one that is spam, offensive or misleading.
- How businesses may contact members. Businesses may contact members only through D Lulu’s follow, invitation and announcement features, only about their own activities, without contact details, links or requests to move off D Lulu, and within the limits shown in the product. D Lulu may hold, refuse or remove announcements and may limit these features for a business that misuses them.
- Waitlists. When a business activity is full you may join its waitlist. If a place opens, it is offered to the first person waiting for the time shown in the app; if it is not claimed in time, it passes to the next person. Claiming it gives you the place or, where the business approves each request, puts your request first for the business to decide. A place on a waitlist is not a place on the activity.
- Joining questions. A business may ask up to three questions, or ask you to accept a statement such as a safety note, before you join its activity. Your answers are seen by the business’s staff for that activity, never by other guests. Do not include contact details or links. A statement you accept is the business’s, not D Lulu’s.
- Attendance. A business may publish a cancellation deadline and say that people who did not show up may not be accepted next time. Its staff may mark at the door whether you arrived; a business must mark attendance honestly, and only for guests of its own activities. D Lulu never declines anyone automatically because of a missed activity, and your attendance record stays private to you; businesses see only whether you are “reliable”.
- LINE (Japan). A business in Japan may show a link to its LINE Official Account. Opening it takes you to LINE, whose own terms and privacy policy apply; D Lulu does not share your data with LINE.
7g. Activity creator rewards
When you start a new activity name on D Lulu and other members use it, you can earn free time on Plus or Premium. This section sets the rules. What we process to run it is explained in our Privacy Policy.
- Who the creator is. The creator of an activity name is the member whose public activity first used it anywhere on D Lulu. Activities in a private circle and activities hosted by a business don’t count. Each name has one creator. Names already in D Lulu’s own list of activities cannot be created, including a name that is the same as one of those activities’ names in any language. Automated accounts are never creators.
- What counts as a use. A use is an activity with that name that: (a) is public, not in a private circle, not hosted by a business, and not removed or flagged by moderation; (b) is published by someone other than the creator; (c) is published by a member who, when uses are counted, has verified their face with a live capture, is on their first D Lulu account, and is not an automated account, a D Lulu test account, banned, suspended or being deleted; (d) was not cancelled before it started; and (e) actually took place: at least one guest checked in with its host using D Lulu’s check-in. That guest must not be the host or the creator, and must meet the same conditions as in (c). An accepted request without a check-in is not a use. The activity and that check-in must both happen within 6 months of the name’s creation.
- Counting. At most 5 uses by the same member count for one activity, and the check-ins of one guest count towards at most 5 uses of one activity. “People” means the number of different members with at least one counted use.
- Rewards. At 10 people and 30 uses: 1 month (30 days) of Plus. At 30 people and 60 uses: 1 month (30 days) of Premium. Each reward is given at most once per activity, and reaching Premium does not take away the Plus reward.
- Limit. You receive at most 3 reward months in any 12 months, counted from when each reward was issued; withdrawn rewards don’t count. A reward reached over this limit is recorded but not given, now or later.
- Who can receive a reward. When a reward is decided, the creator must meet the same conditions as in (c) above: a verified face, a first account, not an automated or test account, not banned or suspended, and not being deleted. Otherwise the reward is recorded as not eligible and is not given later. Rewards also require D Lulu’s reward-pass programme to be running.
- Using a reward. Rewards are kept in your account (“banked”) and you choose when to start one. You cannot start one while you have a paid subscription or another reward pass running. A reward runs for 30 days from when you start it. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Counting schedule. Uses are counted about once a day, and a reward is issued after the count that reaches it. We may correct counts that turn out to be wrong, and may withhold or withdraw a reward obtained by abuse, such as fake accounts or coordinated empty activities.
- Official activities. When an activity reaches the Plus level, D Lulu may review it to become an official activity. The creator keeps their reward. We do not name the creator publicly.
- Deleting your account. Deleting your account removes you as creator. Rewards not yet issued are not issued, and rewards that are banked or running end with your account.
7h. Referrals, ambassadors and other promotions
We may run programmes that reward members, such as referral passes, the D Lulu Ambassadors programme and its revenue share, and other promotions. Each has its own terms, shown in the app, on the programme’s page or in the ambassador portal; those terms apply together with these Terms.
- Joining. Programmes are optional. Some need an application or your acceptance of dated terms; we decide who may take part and may decline or remove anyone.
- Rewards. Passes, free months and other non-cash rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and end as their terms say. Any cash earnings are paid only as the programme’s terms say, after any hold period and payout minimum, and refunds or chargebacks can reduce them.
- Fair play. We may withhold, reverse or recover any reward or earning obtained through fake, duplicate, test or automated accounts, self-referral, misleading promotion, spam or any other breach of these Terms or the programme’s terms, and may end your participation.
- Ambassadors are independent. An ambassador is not an employee, agent or representative of D Lulu and may not make promises on our behalf. Ambassadors must follow the law on advertising and disclosure where they promote D Lulu, and are responsible for their own taxes.
- Changes. We may change, pause or end a programme, or its rewards, at any time, to the extent the law allows. Rewards already earned under a programme’s terms are honoured as those terms say.
7i. Launch waitlist offer
Before launch, you can join the D Lulu waitlist at dlulu.app. These rules apply to the launch offer for people on the waitlist.
- Who qualifies. An entry counts only after you confirm your email address from our email. Confirmed entries are ranked by the time of confirmation, as shown in our records. The first 50 confirmed entries get 1 calendar month of Premium; the next 150 get 1 calendar month of Plus.
- What you get. The month is free. It needs no payment details and does not renew; afterwards your account returns to the free tier unless you subscribe.
- Claiming it. Sign up for D Lulu with the same email address as your entry (or ask support@dlulu.app to link your entry to your account) within 3 months of our launch email. Unclaimed offers then end.
- Limits. One offer per person, per email address and per account. It cannot be transferred, has no cash value, and cannot be combined with or extend a plan or pass of the same or a higher tier that your account already holds.
- Fair play. We may disqualify entries that are fake, duplicated, automated or otherwise abusive. Leaving the waitlist removes your entry and gives up the offer.
- Changes and decisions. To the extent the law allows, we may change or end the offer before it is awarded, and our decision on who qualifies is final.
7j. Using D Lulu for a business
If you use D Lulu for a business — as its owner, a manager or staff member, or through a business plan — you accept these Terms for yourself and on behalf of the business, and you confirm that you are authorised to do so. In addition to Sections 7b to 7f:
- Accurate information. Everything the business tells us or shows members — its name, details, location, photos, activities, prices, offers and deals — must be true, current and not misleading.
- The business runs its events. The business alone is responsible for its activities, venues, staff, guests’ safety at its events, goods and services, and for holding any licences, permits and insurance they need. D Lulu does not organise, supervise or attend business activities.
- Compliance. The business must comply with the law that applies to it, including consumer-protection, advertising, pricing, alcohol, health and safety, anti-discrimination, data-protection and tax laws. It may use what it sees about members only to run its own activities on D Lulu.
- Verification and labels. Our verification of a business is limited to the checks we choose to make. It is not an endorsement, a licence check or a guarantee of the business, its venue or its offers. Paid placement is always marked “Sponsored” (“広告” in Japan), and what a business pays never changes the order of partner suggestions (see Section 7c).
- Plans and fees. Any business plan or fee is on the terms shown when you choose it.
- Our rights. We may refuse, pause or remove a business, its activities, offers, deals, replies to reviews or announcements, and may end a business account, as Section 10 allows.
8. No guarantees
We do not guarantee that anyone will accept your request or join your activity, that anyone you meet is who they say they are, or is honest, single, compatible or safe, that any activity, meetup or business event will happen on time or at all, or that a business will honour an offer or a deal. Suggestions, rankings, “For you” marks, alerts and matches are best-effort and depend on what other people publish, on our systems and on network conditions. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control, and we may change, limit or end any feature (see Section 3).
8a. Places, maps and location
- Information about places. Place names, addresses, opening hours, photos and other details about venues come from businesses on D Lulu, from other members and from third-party map and place providers. They may be out of date or wrong. Check important details, such as whether a place is open, safe, accessible or suitable for your group, with the place itself.
- Location features. Distances, maps, nearby alerts, check-ins and any location shown in the app are approximate and depend on your device, its settings and network conditions. Do not rely on them for navigation, for your safety or in an emergency. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
- Your location choices. You choose whether the app may use your location and what you share with others. Do not use any location feature to follow, track or turn up uninvited on another person.
8b. Third-party services
The Service works with, and links to, services we do not control, such as Apple and Google (app stores, sign-in, payments, maps), map and place providers, a business’s own website, booking page or LINE account, and links other people share. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for them, for their content, availability or accuracy, or for any dealings you have with them.
9. Your safety and assumption of risk
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ. D Lulu is a platform that helps people find each other and meet in person. We are not a party to any meetup, activity, date, business event, venue offer, partner deal, booking or arrangement between members, or between members and businesses, and we do not organise, supervise, attend or control them.
What verification does and does not mean. D Lulu does not run criminal background checks, sex-offender register checks, identity-document checks or any other screening of members or businesses. Face verification only checks that a live capture taken in the app matches the photos on that account and is not already on another D Lulu account. It does not confirm a person’s name, age, identity, history, character, health or intentions. A “verified” mark on a person or a business, a rating, a review or a “reliable” mark is not an endorsement and not a promise that anyone is safe. We do not vouch for anything a member or a business says about themselves.
You alone are responsible for deciding whom to meet, where, when and how, and for your own conduct. Meeting people you do not know, including on dates, carries inherent risks, such as physical injury, illness, assault, harassment, theft, fraud and emotional distress, and some activities (for example sports, outdoor activities, travel or drinking alcohol) carry their own risks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you accept these risks.
Take sensible precautions: meet in public first, tell someone you trust, arrange your own transport, stay in control of your drinks and belongings, never send money to anyone you meet through D Lulu, and leave at any sign of discomfort. See our Community Guidelines for safety tips.
Release. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release D Lulu and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from all claims, demands, losses and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or connected with (a) the conduct of any member, business, venue, partner or other third party, online or offline, and (b) any meetup, activity, event, offer, deal or booking. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code §1542, which says: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.” You waive any similar law elsewhere to the extent you can. This release does not cover liability that the law does not allow us to exclude (see Section 13).
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account or your access to any part of the Service, remove or restrict your content, and refuse future accounts, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:
- you have breached these Terms, the Community Guidelines, any additional terms, or the law;
- your use poses a risk to another person, to D Lulu, or to a third party, or could expose us to legal or regulatory liability;
- you are under 18, or an age signal or other information suggests you may be;
- you hold, or tried to create, more than one account, or you were previously banned;
- your account has been inactive for an extended period;
- your account was created at or after 15:42 UTC on October 11, 2026 and has not completed face verification within 7 days of sign-up (see Section 2);
- we are required to do so by law, court order, or lawful authority; or
- continuing to provide the Service to you is not commercially reasonable, for example because we stop offering it where you are.
We decide what action to take, and we may take different action in similar cases. Where the law requires it, we will tell you the reason and how you can ask us to look again (see the Community Guidelines).
What happens when an account ends. You can stop using D Lulu and delete your account at any time in the app’s settings. When your account ends for any reason, your right to use the Service ends; any subscription time, passes, rewards and offers end with it, except where the programme’s own terms or the law say otherwise; and we delete or keep your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account cannot be undone: it disappears from D Lulu at once, your face data is deleted, and we keep other records for 90 days for safety reports and legal requests. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google; cancel it in your store account settings. If we end your account because you broke these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund to the extent permitted by law, and you must not create a new account without our written permission.
Sections 5, 9 and 11 to 18, and any other terms that by their nature should continue, survive the end of your account and of these Terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, the D Lulu name, wordmark and logo, and all related marks, is owned by QuantumShieldAI Pte. Ltd. or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the app and the Service for your own non-commercial use (or, for a business account, to host on D Lulu as the Service allows). You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, distribute or create derivative works from the Service, or use our names or marks, without our written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you believe content on D Lulu infringes your copyright or other rights, follow our copyright and takedown procedure, which also covers notices under laws other than those of the United States.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. D Lulu disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
Without limiting the foregoing, D Lulu does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any content or information — including profiles, activities, messages, reviews, ratings, verification marks, offers, place information, locations, translations, suggestions or matches — is accurate, complete, reliable, lawful or safe. D Lulu makes no warranty about the conduct of any member, business, venue or partner.
If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the law where you live that these Terms cannot change. Nothing in this section affects those rights.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will D Lulu, its affiliates, or its or their officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for (a) any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; (b) any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, or the cost of substitute services; or (c) any damages arising out of the conduct or content of any member, business, venue, partner or other third party, or out of any meetup, activity, event, offer, deal or booking — however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, even if D Lulu has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid for the Service, including through Apple or Google, in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or, where the law requires it, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not for loss that was not foreseeable. In jurisdictions that do not allow some of the exclusions or limits above, they apply only to the extent that law allows.
14. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless D Lulu and its affiliates and their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, fines and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your breach of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, any additional terms, or the law; (d) your conduct towards any other person, online or offline; and (e) if you use D Lulu for a business, that business’s activities, events, offers, deals, venues, staff, goods and services and its compliance with the law.
We may, at our own expense, take over the defence and control of any matter you must indemnify us for, and you will cooperate with us. You may not settle any such matter without our written consent. If you are a consumer, this section applies only to the extent the law where you live allows.
15. Dispute resolution and binding arbitration
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration, not in court or in a class action, unless an exception below applies to you.
15.1 Informal resolution first
Before starting any formal proceeding, you and we each agree to try to resolve the dispute informally. Send a written description of your claim, with your name and the email address or phone number on your account, to support@dlulu.app; we will reply using your account details. Both sides will negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days from the notice, and time limits for bringing the claim pause during those 30 days.
15.2 Binding arbitration in Singapore
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, that is not resolved informally will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under the SIAC Rules in force when the notice of arbitration is submitted. The seat of arbitration is Singapore. The tribunal will consist of one arbitrator. The language is English. Hearings may be held by video. The arbitrator may award relief only in favour of an individual party and only to the extent needed for that party’s own claim.
15.3 Class-action waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and D Lulu agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.
If a court decides that this waiver cannot be enforced for a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) must be brought in court rather than in arbitration, and the rest of this Section 15 still applies.
15.4 Exceptions
Either party may bring an individual claim in a small-claims court (or its equivalent where you live) if the claim qualifies. Either party may also ask a court for an injunction or other urgent relief to stop the misuse of its intellectual property, data or systems, or a breach of Section 4.
15.5 Consumer rights
If you use D Lulu as a consumer and the law where you live does not allow you to be bound by an arbitration agreement, a class-action waiver or the choice of a foreign court — as is the case, for example, for consumers in the EU, the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Australia — then Sections 15.2 and 15.3 do not apply to you to that extent, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live. Nothing in this Section 15 limits any mandatory consumer right you have under the laws of your habitual residence.
15.6 Opting out of arbitration
You may opt out of Sections 15.2 and 15.3 by emailing support@dlulu.app within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name, the email address or phone number on your account, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
15.7 Time to bring a claim
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or connected with these Terms or the Service must be started within one year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred.
16. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Subject to Section 15, the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts there where that law gives you the right to.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service, to the law or to how we run D Lulu. We will publish the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and the date it takes effect. If a change is material, we may also tell you in the app, by email (if you have given us one), or in another reasonable way. Changes apply from the date they take effect and do not apply to a dispute you notified us about before then. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the changed Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service and delete your account.
18. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Biometric Data Consent, Community Guidelines, Cookie Policy, copyright and takedown procedure, and any additional terms we show you for a specific feature or programme (such as referral, ambassador or revenue share terms, or a business plan), are the entire agreement between you and D Lulu about the Service. If additional terms conflict with these Terms, the additional terms apply to that feature or programme.
- Electronic communications. You agree that we may give you notices and other communications electronically — in the app, by push notification, by email or text message to the details on your account, or by posting them on dlulu.app — and that they meet any legal requirement for communications in writing. Your electronic acceptance of these Terms has the same effect as a signature. Service messages about your account, your safety and these Terms are part of the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and, where possible, modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable; the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer them, in whole or in part, to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government action, power, internet or hosting failures, or attacks on our systems.
- No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise or employment relationship. Businesses, venues, partners and ambassadors are independent of D Lulu.
- No third-party beneficiaries. Except for the people released or indemnified under these Terms, and Apple as described below, no one else has rights under these Terms.
- Apple and Google. If you got the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and D Lulu only, not Apple or Google, and D Lulu (not Apple or Google) is solely responsible for the app and its content. Your licence to use the app is limited to devices you own or control, as the store’s usage rules allow. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the price you paid for the app (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and Google are not responsible for any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet any legal or regulatory requirement, consumer-protection or privacy claims, or claims that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual property; D Lulu, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging any such intellectual property claim, to the extent these Terms require. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with the store’s terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
- Sanctions and export. You may not use the Service where doing so would breach sanctions or export laws that apply to you or to us.
- Language and interpretation. These Terms are written in English, and the English version prevails over any translation. Headings are for convenience only. “Including” means “including without limitation”.
