DMCA Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026 · Version 1.1 · Effective November 4, 2026

D Lulu respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same of its users. D Lulu is based in Singapore. We operate a notice-and-takedown process modelled on the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and we use the same process for copyright notices under the laws of other countries, such as the Singapore Copyright Act 2021. This policy explains how to file a copyright complaint and how an affected user may respond. It does not create any obligation beyond those the law imposes on us.

1. Designated Copyright Agent

Copyright complaints relating to content on the D Lulu Service should be sent to our Designated Copyright Agent:

DMCA Agent
QuantumShieldAI Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202650970C), Singapore
Email: support@dlulu.app

We designate the agent above to receive notices of claimed infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2). Notices sent anywhere else, or about something other than intellectual property, may not be handled under this policy.

2. Filing a takedown notice — required elements

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a notification of claimed infringement must be a written communication provided to our Designated Agent that includes substantially all of the following:

  1. a physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or — if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification — a representative list of those works;
  3. identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (for example, the URL, screen name, activity or profile, or direct link inside the app);
  4. information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you — your name, address, telephone number, and email;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Submitting a knowingly false takedown notice can subject you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including costs and attorneys' fees. Please consider fair use and other exceptions before filing.

3. What we do when we receive a notice

On receipt of a notice that substantially complies with § 512(c)(3), we will:

  1. disable or remove access to the allegedly infringing material expeditiously;
  2. take reasonable steps to notify the user who uploaded the material, which may include forwarding your notice (with your contact details) to them;
  3. record the incident against the user's account for the purposes of our repeat-infringer policy.

4. Counter-notice — for users whose content was removed

If you are a D Lulu user and believe your content was removed in error, you can submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), a counter-notice must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled;
  3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled;
  4. your name, address, and telephone number;
  5. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which D Lulu may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or an agent of that person.

On receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant informs us, within 10 to 14 business days, that they have filed a court action seeking a restraining order, we may restore the material. We do not decide copyright disputes between users and rightsholders, and we may keep material removed if it also breaks our Terms or Community Guidelines.

5. Repeat-infringer policy

D Lulu maintains a three-strikes policy. A user whose account is the subject of three or more substantiated copyright complaints within a rolling 12-month period will have their account terminated, and we will take reasonable steps to prevent them from creating a new account. We may act sooner in the case of flagrant or egregious infringement.

6. Other intellectual-property complaints

If you believe content on D Lulu infringes a trademark, right of publicity, or other intellectual-property right other than copyright, please email support@dlulu.app with a clear description of the content, its location, your claim and your contact details. We will review it and decide, at our discretion, what action to take.

Other illegal or harmful content. To report content you believe is illegal for another reason, or breaks our Community Guidelines, use Report in the app or email support@dlulu.app with the content’s location and why you believe it is illegal. Authorities may contact us at the same address.

7. Abuse of this process

We treat attempts to misuse the takedown process — for example, to silence lawful speech or a fair-use parody — seriously. We may refuse to act on notices that are incomplete or appear to be abusive, may stop handling notices from people who repeatedly send unfounded ones, and may report bad-faith notices to the appropriate authorities. Nothing in this policy limits the rights we have under our Terms of Service.
