Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) that D Lulu uses on the website at dlulu.app, including the in-browser demo at /try and the portals for businesses and ambassadors. It complements our Privacy Policy.
The D Lulu mobile app does not use browser cookies. Within the app we use the platform’s secure storage (such as the iOS Keychain and Android Keystore) and app storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings; this is covered by our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website can ask your browser to store on your device. It is used to remember information between visits or during a single visit (for example, that you are signed in). Local storage and session storage are similar stores in your browser; session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
What we use
D Lulu’s website is intentionally minimal. The public pages, the waitlist and the demo set no cookies at all. We use only the items listed below. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site cookies, or third-party analytics.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__Host-dlulu_business, __Host-dlulu_business_pre |
First-party HTTP cookies (secure, HTTP-only, same-site) | Keep you signed in to the business portal, and protect the sign-in step against forgery. | Up to 1 hour (sign-in step: 10 minutes). | Strictly necessary |
__Host-dlulu_growth, __Host-dlulu_growth_pre |
First-party HTTP cookies (secure, HTTP-only, same-site) | Keep you signed in to the ambassador portal, and protect the sign-in step against forgery. | Up to 1 hour (sign-in step: 10 minutes). | Strictly necessary |
__Host-dlulu_growth_lang |
First-party HTTP cookie (secure, HTTP-only, same-site) | Remembers the language you chose in the ambassador portal. | 24 hours. | Functional |
dlulu.city |
Session storage | Keeps the same sample city on the website while you browse. | Until you close the tab. | Functional |
dlulu.sim.* |
Session storage | Remembers where you are in the demo at /try, so a reload does not start it over. It holds only sample data and what you do in the demo; nothing is sent to us. | Until you close the tab. | Functional |
Third parties
We do not embed third-party advertising networks, social-media pixels, A/B-test tools, or analytics on the website. Fonts and scripts are served from our own servers. Images of businesses and activities are loaded from our own storage on Amazon Web Services. Links to other sites (for example a business’s own website or an app store) take you to services with their own cookie policies. Subscriptions are bought only inside the mobile app, never on the website.
Your choices
Because we use only strictly necessary and functional cookies and storage, we do not show a cookie-consent banner. You can still:
- delete cookies and storage for
dlulu.appin your browser’s settings at any time — this signs you out of the business or ambassador portal and resets the demo; - use your browser’s private mode, which clears cookies and storage when the window closes;
- block cookies entirely — the public website and the demo still work, but you will not be able to sign in to the portals.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change what we use. We will publish the new version on this page with a new date and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary. If you keep using the website after a change takes effect, the updated policy applies.
